What happens today

Everything done in the street is written on paper and transcribed days later, when nobody remembers which hydrant the reading belonged to.
When the regulator arrives, the answer has to be reconstructed: the evidence exists, but it is spread across notebooks, emails and phones.
The disconnection charge has to be proven, and today it is proven with the technician’s word.

The time of the call, the time of arrival and the state the pavement was left in, with a record with its coordinate and its time. That is what the municipality asks for.

Who regulates, and what they look at

This is the industry with the most mandatory field tasks, and with the only regulation reviewed that legally requires geotagging an inspection.
