What gets captured in the field
Somebody is standing in the installation, in front of the equipment or with the slip in hand. The job is for the record to be complete before leaving —with its photo, its time and its author— and not rebuilt from memory on Friday.

What gets done with the record afterwards
Here the record is not captured: it starts from one that already exists. What changed since last month, who authorised which version, how much progress backs the progress payment.
